Project Manager

Summary

Oversees ICT projects (cloud, cybersecurity, AI, data) from start to finish using the European Parliament’s ENGAGE methodology, managing timelines, budgets, teams, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring quality and compliance.

OSMOTE Global Solutions NV is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic ICT team. As part of the OTE Group of Companies, we specialize in delivering cutting-edge ICT solutions and services spanning Cloud Services, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, Big Data, and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing ICT projects from initiation through completion, in line with the European Parliament’s ENGAGE project management methodology. You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders and functional working groups to define project strategies, plans, tasks and deliverables, while ensuring quality, risk and issue management throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing project costs, timelines and resources, monitoring progress against agreed plans and tolerances, coordinating project deliverables, and providing regular status reporting. You will also lead project teams, manage change and stakeholder expectations, and ensure successful delivery of projects in accordance with agreed objectives, quality standards and terms of reference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing ICT projects from the drafting of the project charter to the completion of all activities using European Parliament’s Project Management methodology (ENGAGE)
  • Making proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, reviewing project deliverables, performing quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow-up and organisation
  • Guiding the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables, follow up project execution
  • Participating in functional working groups and progress meetings
  • Estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project in adherence to the agreed terms of reference
  • Preparing and maintaining project and quality plans, tracking activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports
  • Monitoring results including costs, timescales and resources used, and taking action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensuring that delivered systems are implemented along these criteria
  • Change management, obtaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors
  • Providing effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly develop their skills and experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Project management (CAPM, PM2 or similar equivalent certification)
  • Use of project management tools
  • Good knowledge of one Project Management Methodology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the domain of the lot and more specifically as below:
    • Experience in Project Management of Information Systems development projects
    • Practical experience with the system development life-cycle
    • Experience in working with a project management tool
    • Experience or advanced literacy in AI in related applications/use cases in the domain
    • Proven experience with quality procedures
    • Sound experience in iterative, incremental and adaptive lifecycles (e.g. RUP, agile methods)
    • Practical experience of reporting to Steering Committees or other governance bodies including top management
  • English at C.1 level and preferably French at B.1 level
  • Other specific expertise:
    • Good analytical, organisational and writing skills
    • Good oral communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
    • Ability to apply high-quality standards to all tasks
