Project Manager – Data Platforms
Salary: ₱70,000 – ₱100,000 per month
About the role
Manage and coordinate projects related to Data Platforms, Big Data, ETL, and data engineering. Work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Oversee project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
Support incident management and ensure timely resolution of data platform-related incidents and requests
Leverage AI-assisted tools and techniques to support deep-dive investigation and troubleshooting of incidents and service requests
Ensure adherence to project processes, quality standards, and delivery methodologies
About you
Strong working knowledge of SQL, including Spark SQL, Hive, and PL/SQL
Knowledge of Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Hive
Experience with ETL processes and tools, such as Talend
Experience working in a Linux environment, including shell scripting
Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts
Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Control-M or Apache Airflow
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic and Splunk
Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience with Incident Management and production support processes
Experience managing data platform / Big Data projects
