As a project manager at DGA, you will:

  • Own full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. Prepares strategic plans for project success.
  • Be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction
  • Implement one or more client projects through the leadership of project teams
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and contractors
  • Prepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and fees
  • Track and manage financial performance of project for success (e.g., work plan, schedule, fees, billings and collections)
  • Provide leadership to the team and client by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule


You'll bring to DGA:

  • A minimum of 10 years technical expertise in commercial architecture is required, including demonstrated success as a project architect on a range of corporate project types (life science, healthcare, or high-tech laboratory design a plus).
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
  • Licensed or registered architect
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, serving as the primary client contact.
  • Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to manage budgets, staffing & project set up with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple small to medium projects, to set priorities and maintain schedules
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Ajera and project management software
  • Construction Management skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes and CBC/ADA Accessibility requirements
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Detailing skills
  • Provides mentorship for junior staff
  • Experience with local authorities having jurisdiction
  • Must be proficient in Autodesk Building Design Suite/ Revit and newer, along with MS Office Suite
  • Participation in the preparation of proposals including interviews and presentations

At the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position is between $130,000 to $160,000 commensurate with qualifications
