PURPOSE

Getting that platform integrated at a customer site and energized on schedule is the work of this role.
The product is the integration of R3Di into a customer’s existing infrastructure or alongside a new build, so as Project Manager you own the full project lifecycle from initiation through closeout: scope, schedule, cost, procurement, and customer commitments. You coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction scope through subcontractors and work closely with the commissioning team that leads on-site installation and energization, and you understand the work well enough to recognize dependencies, question an unrealistic plan, and see how a technical decision moves cost and schedule. Reporting to the Executive Team, you take initiative, bring practical recommendations, and keep engineering, contractors, vendors, and customers aligned.
This role is based at the e2Companies office in Bonita Springs, Florida.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the full project lifecycle from initiation through closeout, integrating the R3Di® platform into customer infrastructure on scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage project scope, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and deliverables, maintaining a realistic plan that accounts for design, permits, long-lead equipment, site readiness, installation, testing, and energization
- Partner with the commissioning and engineering teams that lead on-site installation and energization to align schedules, resources, and site readiness
- Coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) scope through subcontractors, along with manufacturing, commissioning, vendors, and customers, confirming responsibilities, required dates, and handoffs
- Track progress against the approved baseline, verifying percent complete and milestone status with the teams performing the work and addressing missed commitments
- Manage project cost performance using Earned Value Management principles, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI), flagging variances early with corrective action plans
- Identify and document scope changes, coordinating pricing, review, and approval before changed work proceeds
- Track construction permits, inspections, and utility interconnection approvals with the responsible parties, incorporating their requirements and timing into the project plan
- Coordinate equipment shipping, receiving, and long-lead delivery schedules with vendors and site teams
- Identify risks and unresolved issues early, assess impact, pursue workable options, and follow through to an owner and resolution
- Communicate project status, financial position, and forecast to executives, customers, and key stakeholders, leading project meetings that capture decisions, owners, and due dates
- Maintain accurate schedules, financial inputs, project records, changes, and action items in Procore and other designated systems
- Create quotes and bids for future projects, and support estimating and proposals with planning, execution assumptions, and lessons learned
- Perform other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MUST-HAVE)
- 10+ years of project management experience delivering electrical infrastructure, power systems, or high voltage construction projects, including responsibility for complex projects with multiple contractors, vendors, technical teams, and customer stakeholders
- Electrical background or demonstrated practical understanding of electrical systems, major equipment, and construction through testing and commissioning, with the ability to interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and technical documentation to coordinate work and identify dependencies
- Direct project delivery experience with at least one of the following: power system infrastructure, utility construction, energy storage systems, microgrids, or distributed energy resources (DER)
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, procurement, change orders, and project closeout
- Demonstrated experience tracking percent complete and reporting project financial performance, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC), and cost and schedule variance analysis
- General knowledge of construction permitting, regulatory approvals, inspections, and utility interconnection, and their impact on execution and schedule
- Experience coordinating long-lead equipment, vendor deliverables, licensed electrical contractors, and commissioning teams on active construction sites
- Ability to travel to project sites up to 30% based on project needs
- Proficiency with common computer applications and project management software, with the ability to learn and use designated systems such as Procore
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and clear, concise, professional communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Utility interconnection experience, including utility coordination, approval requirements, and energization milestones
- Experience on mission-critical facilities or data centers with complex equipment integration and coordinated commissioning
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and Procore
- Familiarity with governing industry standards, including NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, NFPA 110, IEEE 1547, IEEE C37, and NETA ATS acceptance testing
- OSHA 30 certification
