PROJECT MANAGER
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a reliable Project Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
An excellent Project Manager should be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time according to requirements and within scope and budget
Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Technical evaluation in tender processes
Reviewing the work progress on daily basis
Analyzing, managing and mitigating risks and planning to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Ensuring that all necessary building permits are obtained
Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Collecting project data to prepare relevant project reports including cost report, physical progress, design progress, local authority matters, contractor’s performance, quality and safety
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
10 years of experience in developing construction projects (high-rise buildings, preferably residential, office, and hospitality developments)
Minimum 6 years of experience in a management role
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards
Familiarity with construction and project management software packages
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
