Project Manager
Job Description
- Plan, organize, and manage construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, and resources to achieve project objectives.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
- Manage project costs, procurement, and contract administration.
- Conduct regular site meetings and prepare project progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Supervise site teams and provide leadership to engineers, supervisors, and workers.
- Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues that may arise during project execution.
- Liaise with government agencies and authorities for inspections, approvals, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and contract administration.
- Familiarity with Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications will be an advantage.
