  • Participate in pre-order technical reviews, site surveys and customer meetings where project delivery input is required.
  • Take formal ownership following contract award and review quotations, specifications, drawings, exclusions, program commitments and commercial agreements.
  • Identify gaps, ambiguities, risks or scope conflicts before mobilisation and agree a clear resolution and ownership plan.
  • Run structured internal handover meetings and ensure project information is documented within the correct business systems.

  • Monitor critical-path activities and proactively address risks, delays, dependencies and resource constraints.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide regular status reporting to the Operations and relevant stakeholders.

3. Technical Coordination & Change Control

  • Coordinate technical information between the customer, sales, engineering, suppliers and installation teams.
  • Ensure drawings, specifications, utility requirements, layouts, interfaces and customer approvals are controlled and communicated.
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and ensure proposed changes are assessed for safety, compliance, cost, program and customer impact.
  • Maintain a clear change-control process and ensure variations are documented, costed, approved and communicated before additional work proceeds.

4. Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own project budgets and track committed, actual and forecast costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Protect gross margin through effective planning, purchasing coordination, resource control and early intervention.

  • Report project performance, forecast outcomes, variations, risks and profitability clearly and accurately.
  • Prevent unapproved scope growth and ensure contractual obligations, exclusions and customer relationships remain visible.

5. Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary delivery contact for the customer from handover to completion.
  • Confirm scope, site responsibilities, program, deliverables, access requirements and acceptance criteria with the customer.
  • Provide clear, timely progress updates and manage expectations professionally, particularly where changes or delays arise.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders including production, engineering, health and safety, procurement, facilities and principal contractor teams.
  • Resolve concerns promptly while maintaining a professional, solutions-focused approach and protecting the relevant business position.

6. Health, Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure projects comply with applicable health and safety legislation, customer requirements, company procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare, coordinate and maintain project documentation including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), site information and installation records.
  • Ensure site activities are appropriately planned, resourced, briefed and controlled, with issues escalated promptly.
  • Coordinate required technical and compliance documentation for the equipment and installation.
  • Promote safe working, high-quality standards and disciplined project documentation across employees and subcontractors.

7. Installation, Commissioning & Completion

  • Plan and coordinate deliveries, installation, testing and commissioning activity.
  • Ensure site readiness, utilities, access, lifting, storage and customer dependencies are confirmed before mobilisation.
  • Manage snagging and corrective actions to timely closure.
  • Coordinate training, manuals, certification, completion packs and other agreed customer deliverables.
  • Obtain customer acceptance and formal sign-off, complete project closure and support an effective handover to service or aftercare teams.

8. Cross-Business Working & Continuous Improvement

  • Use shared resources sensibly while maintaining clear records, project ownership, costs, customer communications and approvals for Elmbridge and Minden separately.
  • Apply consistent project management disciplines across both businesses without unnecessarily merging their brands, systems or customer propositions.
  • Keep post-project reviews and capture lessons relating to scope, margin, quality, safety, suppliers, program and customer experience.
  • Develop practical templates, controls and reporting that improve visibility and repeatability of capital project delivery.
  • Support wider operational improvement activity and undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the role.

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to protect scope, program and project margin.
  • Competence using project planning, Microsoft 365 and business systems to maintain accurate records and reports.
