About the Opportunity
Our client is an ELV, ICT and security systems integration company based in Puchong, delivering projects across Malaysia.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and practical problem-solving skills. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, coordinating teams, resources and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from kick-off through planning, installation, testing, commissioning and final handover.
Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and vendors to meet project timelines, specifications and quality standards.
Serve as the main project contact for clients, consultants and main contractors, managing expectations and resolving technical and operational issues.
Conduct progress meetings and provide updates on project status, risks and corrective actions.
Review tender documents, bills of quantities, shop drawings, technical submissions and specifications.
Coordinate system integration with other building services, including fire alarms, building management systems, lift controls and power infrastructure.
Monitor project budgets, procurement schedules, variation orders, progress billings and subcontractor payments.
Identify potential delays and delivery risks early, and implement practical solutions.
Lead testing and commissioning, integrated system testing and joint inspections.
Oversee defect rectification, operation and maintenance documentation, final acceptance and project closeout.
Requirements
Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer or Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in ELV and ICT project execution, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Hands-on experience across relevant systems, including:
Security: CCTV/VMS, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, barrier gates and visitor management.
ICT and communications: Structured cabling, fibre and copper networks, FTTH, wireless access points, public address, intercom and SMATV/IPTV.
Specialised systems: Security command centres, PABX and audio-visual systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Revit/BIM knowledge is an added advantage.
Familiarity with CCTV video management platforms and access control software.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach, strong accountability and commitment to project deadlines.
Willingness to travel across Malaysia, including Penang, and relocate according to project requirements.
