Project Manager - Enablement Innovation and Automation 1

The opportunity

The Solution Developer provides core build capacity and technical delivery across applications, automation, data, integrations, reporting and production support. The role translates approved designs into production-quality components and contributes to design, estimation, testing, controlled release and L2 support.

Your key responsibilities

• Build assigned components across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, AI Builder and Power BI.
• Translate Solution Lead designs into working user interface, automation, data, integration and reporting components.
• Apply standards for quality, error handling, maintainability, security and supportability.
• Contribute to technical design, planning, estimation and practical problem-solving.
• Resolve build defects, support testing and prepare components for deployment.
• Document key logic, configuration, assumptions and technical decisions.
• Guide Junior Developers on build tasks, standards and troubleshooting.
• Support L2 production issues requiring technical investigation.

Key functional responsibilities

Solution development

• Develop canvas apps, model-driven apps, cloud flows, Dataverse configuration and SharePoint components.
• Configure Power Pages sites, content, forms, lists, permissions and site design in line with approved architecture.
• Build Power BI reports, data models and visualisations, and support controlled workspace publishing.
• Configure approved Copilot Studio and AI Builder capabilities.

Data, integration and lifecycle management

• Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security and data design.
• Build scalable and maintainable Power Automate solutions and approved integrations.
• Use managed solutions, environment variables, connection references and controlled deployment practices.

Quality, documentation and support

• Perform unit testing, defect resolution and regression support.
• Prepare technical documentation, release inputs and support handover material.
• Investigate L2 incidents, document root causes and implement controlled fixes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Typically 3+ years in application development, including 2+ years of hands-on Power Platform delivery, with experience deploying and supporting production solutions.
• Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of application lifecycle management, environments, security and governance.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and documentation skills.

Ideally, you will also have

• Relevant Microsoft Power Platform or Power BI certifications.
• Experience with integration patterns, production monitoring and support.
• Experience delivering governed solutions across multiple environments.
• Specialist experience in one or more of Power Pages, Power BI, Copilot Studio or AI Builder. The required specialism will be identified for each vacancy according to team coverage and business demand.
