Project Manager / Estimator - Commercial Storefront & Heavy Glass

Salary: $40,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience)
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator with experience in commercial storefront and heavy glass projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for storefront and heavy glass projects.
- Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
- Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes.
- Submit competitive and profitable bids.
Project Management
- Manage awarded projects from contract execution through closeout.
- Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, and field crews.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines.
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, architects, and suppliers.
- Process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Resolve project challenges while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the storefront and heavy glass industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, storefronts, entrances, and heavy glass installations.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing commercial glazing projects from start to finish.
- Knowledge of project scheduling and cost tracking.
- Familiarity with industry estimating software.
Physical Demands:
This position primarily works in an office environment with occasional visits to construction sites. The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, communicate with customers and team members, and occasionally lift or carry items up to 20 pounds.
