Join Kin as a Project Manager to lead venue overlay and temporary event infrastructure delivery for major global sporting events. Collaborate with international federations and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution from planning to post-event reinstatement.
Responsibilities
Venue Overlay & Technical Delivery
- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of venue overlay and temporary event infrastructure for major sporting events
- Manage overlay elements including temporary structures, grandstands, tents, flooring, fencing, power, lighting, water, air-conditioning, signage, cabins, and back-of-house facilities
- Translate venue and site operational requirements into practical overlay plans and detailed scopes of work
- Coordinate venue layouts, site plans, technical needs, access, installation sequencing, and build schedules
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and technical partners through installation, testing, event operations, dismantling, and reinstatement phases
- Identify and resolve site constraints, technical dependencies, and operational risks proactively
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safe, timely delivery meeting quality and operational standards
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, venue owners/operators, authorities, contractors, and event stakeholders
Project Management
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, work plans, budgets, and resource allocations
- Oversee procurement processes, vendor quotations, and project expenditure tracking
- Monitor project progress to ensure achievement of key milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholders in a dynamic event environment
- Manage changes, operational challenges, and competing priorities during project delivery
- Support event-day operations and supervise post-event dismantling and site reinstatement
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reporting, and close-out records
