Lead the delivery of the TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) Regulatory Remediation Program for client's India Operations. This program responds to DOJ-identified shortfalls and must remediate identified gaps across parallel workstreams within a hard regulatory deadline. The Project Manager is accountable for end-to-end program delivery — managing schedule, resources, risks, stakeholder engagement, governance, and regulatory reporting readiness.

Program Delivery & Schedule Management

  • Own and actively manage the integrated program schedule across all workstreams
  • Manage the critical path (WS-1 WS-2/WS-4 WS-3) and proactively address threats to timeline
  • Drive workstream leads and SMEs to deliver on committed dates
  • Manage scope — ensure focus remains on the residual gaps and resist scope creep
  • Implement quality assurance gates at phase boundaries; no phase progression without QA pass

Governance & Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports with RAG ratings per workstream and activity
  • Prepare monthly Steering Committee packs including decisions required, escalations, and progress
  • Coordinate monthly DOJ readiness checkpoints with the Compliance Lead and other identified key stakeholders
  • Maintain the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) with weekly updates
  • Manage the cross-workstream dependency tracker and flag blockers early

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for program delivery to Singapore/Sydney governance
  • Build effective working relationships with India-based SMEs across Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, and Business Units
  • Manage across time zones — coordinate between India execution team and Singapore/Sydney oversight
  • Drive SME accountability through clear commitments, SLAs, and escalation where required
  • Manage the local India sponsor relationship to ensure business participation

Risk & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify and manage program risks (key risks already identified in the plan)
  • Escalate blockers to SteerCo with clear options and recommendations
  • Manage dependencies between workstreams — particularly the critical path through WS-1 Phase 1

Regulatory Awareness

  • Maintain sufficient understanding of IRDAI outsourcing guidelines, DPDP Act 2023, and DOJ expectations to contextualise delivery decisions
  • Ensure deliverables are positioned for DOJ scrutiny — coordinate with Compliance Lead on evidence standards
  • Flag any emerging regulatory changes or DOJ expectation shifts that impact scope

Program Closure & Transition

  • Plan and execute formal handover of all deliverables to BAU Risk Management
  • Coordinate lessons learned
  • Ensure all evidence artefacts are compiled and stored for DOJ attestation purposes
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience, with minimum 4 years managing regulatory, compliance, or risk remediation programs
  • Demonstrated experience delivering programs with hard regulatory deadlines where failure to deliver has material consequences (enforcement action, license risk, etc.)
  • Experience in financial services or insurance (IRDAI-regulated environment highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to manage programs with distributed governance — execution in one jurisdiction, oversight in another
  • Track record of delivering with lean teams and heavy reliance on business SME contribution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — ability to influence without direct authority, particularly with senior business stakeholders who control SME availability
  • Rigorous schedule and dependency management — demonstrated ability to manage complex critical paths across parallel workstreams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English — governance reporting will be consumed by Singapore/Sydney leadership
