We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Service Excellence Department, where you will play a central role in developing and optimizing our global service business.
Make Your Mark on Our Global Service Organization
The Service Excellence Department has overall responsibility for the servicing of VIKING’s Marine Evacuation Systems (MES), liferafts, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worldwide. The department also supports the training and certification of authorized service technicians and the implementation of product and service improvements.
The position is based at our headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark, and you will report to the Director Service Excellence MES, Raft & PPE, who is based at VIKING’s office in Bergen, Norway.
You will become part of an international team of 13 dedicated colleagues, where collaboration, professional sparring, and continuous development are a natural part of everyday work.
Your Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that support the development of VIKING’s global service organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders across countries and functions
Participating in the implementation of technical improvements and new service concepts
Analyzing and optimizing processes, systems, and ways of working
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring effective project execution
Following up on project objectives, milestones, and results
Maintaining project documentation and facilitating knowledge sharing across the organization
Contributing to the development of global standards and best practices within the service area
You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders and become an important partner to technicians, specialists, product development teams, sales teams, and service organizations around the world.
Approximately 20 travel days per year should be expected.
Who Are You?
We imagine that you have experience from a similar role where you have worked with project management in a technically oriented company or organization.
Most importantly, you thrive at the intersection of technology, people, and processes, and you are motivated by understanding and working with complex technical products and solutions.

Experience in project management and coordinating cross-functional activities
Strong technical understanding and an interest in technical products and solutions
A structured and analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision-making
A proactive and independent working style
A strong quality and results-oriented mindset
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
The ability to navigate effectively among multiple stakeholders in a global organization
The flexibility to work with both strategic and operational tasks
Experience with Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, or other ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
You are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
