Project Manager
- Manage and oversee renovation, fit-out, and development projects for new and existing outlets within the group demonstrating a strong understanding of basic renovation, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and fire protection drawings.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaise with landlords, building management, consultants, and relevant authorities for project approvals, permits, and compliance matters.
- Manage and supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure construction work is carried out according to project specifications and timeline.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship quality, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project budgets, quotations, contractor payments, and overall cost control.
- Provide regular project progress updates and reports to management.
- Resolve on-site construction issues and ensure problems are addressed promptly to avoid project delays.
- Ensure project completion meets operational requirements and oversee final inspection and handover.
Requirements
- Must possess a recognized Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Science, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a closely related construction discipline. Qualification must be recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to satisfy the Technical ("T") qualification criteria for BCA CR06 (Grade L1) registration.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, renovation, or fit-out project management
- Experience in managing contractors and supervising construction works
- Experience liaising with landlords, building management, and authorities for project approvals
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD for simple drafting and drawing modifications
- Familiarity with Revit or SketchUp is advantageous
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin to accurately read regulatory drawings and technical vocabulary
- Competency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translate project drawings from Chinese to English
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with Singapore regulatory approval processes such as SCDF, BCA, URA, NOA and other relevant authority submissions
- Experience in retail, hospitality, F&B or entertainment outlet renovation projects
- Strong experience managing contractors and subcontractors
- Relevant professional certifications within the construction or building industry
