About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects - Growth, you'll lead and support a portfolio of strategic projects that are often complex, high-profile and confidential in nature. These initiatives may include asset related transactions, strategic partnerships, organisational change, market expansion opportunities and other growth-related projects.
This is far more than a traditional project management role. You'll be responsible for bringing structure to ambiguity, coordinating diverse stakeholder groups, establishing governance frameworks and ensuring projects progress from concept through to execution. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business, helping translate strategy into actionable plans while providing insights and recommendations that support critical decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and delivery of strategic growth initiatives across the business
- Translating complex or emerging opportunities into clear project plans, milestones and governance frameworks
- Building business cases, conducting analysis and supporting investment decisions
- Preparing executive-level insights, recommendations and project updates
- Coordinating stakeholders across strategy, commercial, finance, legal and operational teams
- Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and confidential information
- Driving alignment and accountability across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
- Building sustainable capability through organisational change
- Embedding effective project disciplines, governance and ways of working that create lasting organisational value
