Project Manager

Our client is a leading technology and engineering organisation delivering innovative power, energy, and decarbonisation solutions across major infrastructure and industrial projects. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, they are seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes.

Your new role

Reporting into the Programme Leadership team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineering and technology projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks and overall delivery outcomes.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, procurement, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, project execution plans and governance frameworks.
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement across technical, operational and commercial functions.
• Managing project reporting, risk registers, action tracking and executive updates.
• Coordinating technical workshops, design reviews and stage-gate governance activities.
• Driving project performance and proactively managing risks, issues and change requests.
• Supporting commissioning, operational readiness and project handover activities.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned across the project portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering engineering, infrastructure, energy, industrial or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, cost, schedule, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, with Primavera P6 exposure considered advantageous.
• Experience working within power systems, energy, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, automation or mission-critical environments will be highly regarded.
