Project Manager - Healthcare Techology

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing healthcare technology organisation and take ownership of the end to end delivery of complex projects across hospital and aged care environments.

This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to establish and optimise project management practices, work closely with implementation teams and senior stakeholders, and play a key role in the continued transition of clients to scalable cloud-based platforms.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale, multi site implementation and transition projects, often involving complex hospital environments and extended project timelines.

On a daily basis your role will involve:
  • Lead projects from initiation through to successful completion
  • Develop and maintain project plans, governance, documentation, milestones and reporting
  • Coordinate internal implementation teams, clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope and timelines
  • Establish and continuously improve project management frameworks and ways of working
  • Support implementation teams with stakeholder coordination and structured project delivery
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare clients and understand their operational requirements
  • Manage complex projects across multiple sites and stakeholder groups
  • Support the migration of legacy solutions to modern, cloud-based platforms
  • Travel periodically to client sites for key project milestones and implementation activities
To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience managing complex projects end-to-end
  • An understanding of healthcare workflows or experience delivering projects in healthcare environments – Essential.
  • Experience working across large-scale, multi-site or enterprise implementations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation and documentation capabilities
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
  • A practical, collaborative approach to project delivery
  • The ability to work autonomously while actively collaborating with remote teams
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset
  • An understanding of healthcare workflows or experience delivering projects in healthcare environments
