About the Role
We are expanding our associate network and are seeking experienced Project Managers to deliver HR and payroll system implementation projects across a range of technologies. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, from mobilisation through to go-live, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.

This is a senior, client-facing role that requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You’ll work alongside client and vendor teams to ensure each implementation achieves measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for HR and payroll technology implementations, ensuring successful delivery to agreed scope, time, and budget.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for the client, managing communication, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Chair steering committees and project boards, driving executive-level decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal, client, and vendor teams to ensure successful integration and adoption.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation, reporting, and governance in line with Silver Cloud standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex HR or payroll technology projects (e.g. Dayforce, HiBob, UKG, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent contractor or associate, delivering outcomes autonomously and professionally.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.

Benefits

  • Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience and assignment).
  • Flexible engagement durations aligned with client demand.
  • Remote working with occasional UK client travel.
  • Engagement via contract for services (IR35 status assessed per project).
