Project Manager HVAC
Summary
Oversee HVAC system projects for Sanofi’s Frankfurt site, coordinating contractors and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
About the role
The team is responsible for the planning and execution of construction projects. The job holder is responsible within the team for the execution of projects (construction, MEP, etc.) in a GMP-regulated environment. The project phases range from basic evaluation, preliminary and draft planning, and approval and execution planning, to construction supervision and third-party contractor management. You will handle projects and sub-tasks within the scope of an overall project for the ICF department. Work is carried out independently in coordination with all involved parties or in accordance with the concepts and schedules specified by the plant engineer or client.
Main responsibilities:
- Concept creation, planning, and execution of investment projects that fall under the responsibility of the ICF
- Integration of fire protection requirements for the respective buildings
- Planning of cleanrooms and cleanroom zones in accordance with Annex 1 requirements and FDA standards
- Planning of HVAC systems as well as modifications to existing systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and relevant standards
- Energy optimization for existing systems and new construction projects
- Cost estimation for all project phases
- Responsible for managing small and medium-sized projects (TIER 2 and/or TIER 3), including coordinating, delegating, and monitoring project workflows, and ensuring project execution according to client orders regarding costs, schedules, quality, and resources
- Responsible for ensuring and performing project controlling, as well as coordinating project progress with the project team, supervisors, and, if applicable, the client
- Responsible for compliance with established procedures in the area of responsibility regarding external service providers (project execution)
- Creation of tender documents (specifications, etc.) and evaluation of offers. Commissioning of internal and external service providers. Awarding of supplies and services in coordination with the supervisor. Coordinating the execution of services and monitoring compliance with agreements made. Managing and monitoring contractor performance
- Execution and monitoring of assembly and commissioning, performance and documentation of qualification activities
- Maintenance and transfer of specialized know-how in their field of expertise, if applicable, acting as a subject matter expert
About you
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Soft skills / Technical skills:
- Sound knowledge of GMP and HSE requirements
- Willingness to engage in cross-functional collaboration across departments
- Result and solution-oriented, willingness to take on responsibility
- Team-oriented / team player with excellent communication skills
- Independent and systematic way of working
- Education:
- University degree (technical) in engineering. Preferably in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
- Languages:
- Very good written and spoken English skills

The salary range for this position is: €79.104,00 - €105.472
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
