About the Position…
The position involves the provision of technical and project
administrative support to ensure all contracts are delivered on time and
in accordance with the specifications, budgeting requirements and
profitability. You will need to maintain professional relationships with
Clients, Suppliers, Contractors and Sub Contractors to bring about this
outcome.
Further Responsibilities include;
- Estimate and negotiate contracts; project manage resources,
logistics, processes and contract administrative disciplines in
accordance with Contract Agreements, Company Policy and procedures.
- Assist with the compilation submission of Tenders, utilising
resources from the project team as required and providing accurate and
timely cost estimates and tenders to the Projects Director for review
and approval prior to submission.
- Administer preliminaries including Labour Analysis Sheet, and
Subcontractor Terms and Agreements, as well as review and assess needs
for equipment, materials tooling, and purchase items, and assess timing
needs to meet with works program.
- Providing financial project reporting and operational forecasting within Company business reporting timetables and standards.
- Coordinate activities of available resources to ensure appropriate execution of work in progress.
- Ensure that safe work processes are implemented and undertaken by
licensed employees and Sub Contractors to comply with relevant
Legislation; for zero-harm outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in HVAC as a
Project Management with the ability to provide technical and project
support to internal departments. You will need to liaise and coordinate
effectively with the Projects Team to ensure projects are completed
within a timely and accurate manner. Having this experience, along with
forecasting labour and delivery requirements for fabrication,
installation and Sub Contractor activities based upon the agreed program
and established critical path activities; is relevant to succeed in
this position.
