Job Overview
This opportunity provides an excellent experience of Project Transitions/Transfer within TE Product Portfolio as well as provides an opportunity to work on New Project Industrializations.
Reporting to the AD&M India Project Management Leader, the position holder will have primary responsibility for leading project transitions/transfers and New Project Industrializations. The Project Manager role position holder will drive the successful performance of multiple high profile/value projects following defined methods and processes to achieve commercial and efficiency targets set by the business.
Job Requirements
• Project Scoping and Progress Reporting to Sr. Leadership through a defined Review Rhythm
• Leading Cross Functional Meetings to assess Project Progress and liaison in resolving conflicts/issues
• Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities
• Timely Escalation of issues as applicable and utilisation of project change controls
• Defining all necessary requirements for the Product(s) being developed by the project.
• Managing and being accountable for a project budget, liaising with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of goods and materials
• Liaising with customers and Customers/Sales globally as applicable
• Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external)
• Clear strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills including at senior levels Results driven
• A professional level of business acumen and good commercial understanding
• Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate critical information appropriately
• Project Management Professional preferred (e.g. PMP, Prince 2)
• Agile Project Management experience, especially Agile/Waterfall combined projects is preferred, but not essential.
• Good level of IT capability with detailed experience of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel
• Technical and commercial education/ experience related to Engineering Manufacturing in a similar industry would be beneficial
What your background should look like
The candidate should have min. 5 years proven experience in Project Management or relevant experience in similar industry.
Candidate should ideally have a track record of successful delivery of customer facing product development projects following a Stage Gate process product development / manufacturing environment.
