Project Manager III

Duration: 18 Months

Description:
Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the IT project and ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, adhere to defined quality standards and meet agreed user specifications and expectations, and in accordance with Global IT – Project Management guidelines

The role is more functional but may have technical people reporting to them
• Full life-cycle (of product) experience from identification to launch (PLM)
• Portfolio/Business Development experience
• Global experience as this individual will be working with team in US and Israel
• Candidate should be direct, straight forward, and think logically
• Experience managing others
• Pharma experience is highly desired
• Candidate must be ok with travel to Israel from time to time
• Candidate must be flexible with working hours as the team is located globally

At least 8 years of relevant experience preferably gained with an international pharmaceutical company
• Manages all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met - Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist
• Often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staff
• Works independently
• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement

• Undergraduate/BA/BS degree in applicable discipline
• 5-7 Yrs. of related experience.
