Job DescriptionProject ManagerLocation: Leicester, LE19Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, with flexibility for exceptional experienceThe Opportunity Are you a Project Manager who likes being close to the action rather than sitting behind a desk?This is an opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business delivering bespoke retail displays and customer-facing projects for well-known brands. You'll take ownership from the initial brief through to production, delivery and installation, coordinating people, materials, suppliers and deadlines along the way.It's a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who is organised and commercially aware, but equally happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved when something needs sorting.What You'll Be Doing Taking full ownership of projects from initial brief/order through to final delivery and installationManaging multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyCoordinating design, purchasing, production, warehouse, logistics and installation teamsPlanning production schedules and ensuring the right materials, information and resources are available at the right timeWorking closely with suppliers and resolving issues that could affect deliveryCommunicating confidently with clients and keeping them updated throughout the projectMonitoring project costs, estimates, margins and overall commercial performanceReviewing project requirements, drawings and specifications to ensure everything is understood and delivered correctlyIdentifying potential problems early and finding practical solutionsSupporting the wider team wherever required to keep projects movingEnsuring projects are delivered on time, to the required standard and within agreed commercial parametersWhat We're Looking For Proven Project Management experience within manufacturing, production, retail display, engineering, construction or a similarly fast-paced environmentExperience managing projects from start to finishStrong production planning and scheduling experienceGood commercial awareness, including project costs, estimating and marginsExcellent organisation skills with the ability to juggle competing prioritiesA practical, hands-on approach to project managementConfident communication skills across clients, suppliers and internal teamsA positive, resilient approach when plans change or problems ariseSomeone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to doComfortable working at pace and making decisions to keep projects on trackA genuine team player with ambition and driveWhat's On Offer £42,000 - £45,000 salary, with flexibility for exceptional experienceMonday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per weekPredominantly office-based in Leicester, with some flexibility for hybrid workingOpportunity to work on projects for major brandsGenuine end-to-end project responsibilityA varied role where no two projects are exactly the sameOpportunity to have real input into delivery and operational decisionsGrowing business with ambitious plansOccasional overtime/weekend work may be required around project deadlinesInterested?If you're a Project Manager who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems and seeing a project through from start to finish, we'd love to hear from you.Please apply with your CV and a member of the ER Recruitment team will be in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
