Project Manager (Infra / Network)

Job Summary

Lead and manage major IT infrastructure projects and programs, coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions on time and within budget while mitigating risks and improving service availability.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and lead end-to-end initiatives managing medium-sized teams to deliver IT infrastructure projects successfully
• Manage project finances and budgets to reduce costs and enhance service availability
• Define project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities collaboratively with stakeholders and business partners
• Plan and execute major milestone reviews and decision gates to ensure completion of project life cycles, including technical leadership over requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, quality assurance, delivery, and sustainment
• Identify and manage critical paths and milestones within project schedules to maintain progress
• Identify risks impacting project deliverables and implement mitigation and resolution plans to maintain project health
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to identify problems, propose solutions, and implement efficient processes
• Monitor project progress closely to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Adhere to client project management processes and procedures consistently
• Prepare and report project status regularly, including risk metrics for various stakeholder groups
• Demonstrate strong personal accountability in decision-making and project team management

Required competencies and certifications

• Professional Project Management Certification or equivalent
• Technical Certifications or equivalents

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in IT services focusing on infrastructure, data center, or networking
• 6+ years of experience in delivery, project, and program management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills applied to complex projects
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of complex projects
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or changing requirements
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills to build and foster internal relationships
