Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project timelines, resource plans, and work sequences to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses, processing variation orders, and monitoring financial performance.
- Facilitate clear communication and coordination among clients, architects, engineers, main contractors, and subcontractors to align project goals.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify progress against engineering drawings and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, building codes, and quality standards mandated by agencies such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
- Prepare and deliver regular progress updates, performance reports, and risk assessments to senior management for informed decision-making.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building/Construction Management, or Architecture.
- 5 to 10+ years of local experience in building or infrastructure construction.
- Proficient knowledge of local construction methods and contract administration, including familiarity with PSSCOC or SIA contract forms.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and project scheduling software to support project planning and reporting.
