As a Project Manager Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced project managers, field leaders, and preconstruction professionals while contributing to projects that shape communities across the Twin Cities and beyond.

This internship offers exposure to all phases of the construction process, providing valuable insight into project planning, coordination, communication, safety, and project execution. What You'll Do

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, field staff, subcontractors, architects, and owners to support project execution.
• Attend project meetings, including owner-architect-contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, pre-installation meetings, and punch list reviews.
• Assist with project scheduling and help track progress against key milestones.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Participate in jobsite visits and safety walkthroughs alongside field and project management teams.
• Help coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and logistics to support project schedules.
• Track project information, correspondence, and reports to ensure accurate and organized records.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and final project turnover activities.
• Stay informed on emerging construction technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for construction and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry.
