Project Manager
Job Summary
This role offers Project Engineers or those with project coordination experience a pathway into project management by leading engineering projects from initiation to completion, managing schedules, budgets, risks, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects to meet defined objectives
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to support timely delivery
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans to ensure completion within agreed timelines and budgets
- Identify project risks and collaborate to implement effective mitigation strategies
- Coordinate communication and activities among engineering, design, construction teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure project deliverables meet contractual, engineering, and quality standards
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders to communicate progress and issues
- Manage client relationships by addressing project concerns and resolving issues professionally
- Track project costs and resource utilisation to optimize efficiency
- Participate in project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments to enhance project outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or in engineering/project coordination roles
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering and/or relevant industry experience
- Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course (SSSC) certificate or equivalent Workplace Safety and Health Management certification in Marine Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management software is advantageous
- Willingness to travel locally and overseas as required by project assignments

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
- 5.5-day work week
