Project Manager, IT Infrastructure Upgrade (Banking)
Summary
Oversee a banking IT infrastructure upgrade, coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and timelines to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth deployment.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of an IT infrastructure upgrade project within a banking environment.
Act as the key point of contact between client stakeholders, consultants, and third-party vendors.
Develop and manage project scope, timeline, resources, risks, and issues.
Drive project governance, reporting, and steering committee meetings.
Oversee design, testing, deployment, and transition phases to ensure quality delivery.
Ensure compliance with bank IT standards, project methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Support change management and effective stakeholder communication.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience within a banking IT environment.
Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure upgrade projects.
Strong Waterfall project management experience.
Solid stakeholder and team management skills.
Familiarity with banking governance, controls, and documentation standards.
Consulting experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Good communication skills in Japanese are advantageous to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and clients but not mandatory.
