Project Manager (IT)
Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations and vendor coordination for mission-critical systems, ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Formulate and administer project budgets, including planning and processing of service requests.
- Drive audit coordination, compliance reviews, and security remediation initiatives.
- Administer cloud infrastructure hosting arrangements, optimising resource allocation and system performance.
- Partner with external vendors to track Change Request delivery, holding them accountable for timeliness and quality.
- Safeguard uninterrupted business continuity for internet-facing digital services, minimising downtime outside scheduled maintenance windows.
- Build and sustain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation frameworks.
- Guide cross-functional project teams and manage stakeholder relationships across departments.
- Perform risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project issues as they arise.
- Chair project governance meetings, produce status reports and executive dashboards, and oversee user acceptance testing and deployment activities in line with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience within large-scale, enterprise IT environments.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, authentication gateway integration, and payment gateway integration solutions, with familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated background in managing internet-facing digital services and large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor oversight, and communication skills, with a security-focused mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
