Project Manager
Summary
The Project Manager oversees daily construction operations, managing teams, resources, and budgets while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role requires proficiency in CAD and Revit BIM software and involves coordinating with stakeholders across construction sites and factories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day construction management of projects and provide timely updates to management
- Manage project team, site supervisors, workers, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently
- Procuring and allocating resources to ensure no shortages while avoiding any unnecessary delays
- Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work and to ensure works are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with quality standards
- Establish strong working relationship with all stakeholders including staff, workers, contractors, suppliers, clients etc. to ensure smooth operations of projects
- Manage manpower costs, project costs and expenses to ensure optimal cost benefit
- Attend and/or chair meetings with clients, architects, engineers and workers
- Identify possible risks to projects and stakeholders, create contingency plans to mitigate these risks, and respond quickly to work delays, emergencies and other problems
- Oversee all inspection activities including quality and workplace safety and health checks
- Prepare progress reports for each project
- Ensure all changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings are properly documented
- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards
- Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma holder in Civil Engineering/Building or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant industry
- Proficient in reading and understanding CAD (2D & 3D) and Revit BIM drawings
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism and technical competency
- Highly knowledgeable in project processes and procedures, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Able to commit 6 days per week
- Required to work in construction sites & factory
- Candidates with Class 3 driving license and own vehicles preferred
