Summary
The Project Manager will oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and contractual standards. The role involves managing suppliers, sub-contractors, and project documentation while reporting progress to management.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control construction projects to meet contractual, client, and QEHS requirements
- Ensure project progress aligns with schedule and budget while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to enforce compliance with QEHS, schedule, and cost requirements
- Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for project team members
- Monitor construction productivity and recommend improvements to enhance work efficiency
- Prepare detailed site progress reports and maintain all project documentation, including email correspondence
- Liaise with Client, Consultants, Town Councils, subcontractors and suppliers and relevant authorities
- Attend and provide administrative assistance and logistic support in the construction working committee meetings, as and when directed by the SO Rep
- Provide periodic project status updates to management covering QEHS, cost, and schedule metrics
- Any other duties assigned
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess Degree in Architecture, Civil / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years experience with a main contractor involved in HDB projects
