Key responsibilities
- Provide full support and commitment to meet all HSE (health, safety and environmental) goals.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Advise management team on strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and profit centre management.
- Establish and maintain the roles and responsibilities for the department managers.
- Ensure the maintenance of a positive cash flow for all projects.
- Improve accounts receivable conditions and as a minimum meet contractual requirements.
- Responsible for cost management, project controls, engineering, construction, reporting and monitoring, and people management.
- Direct and coordinate all activities related to operations to achieve company targets within the policies, procedures, and authorities.
- Work in coordination with project engineering manager / deputy engineering manager, project controls manager, project procurement manager, project quality manager, project HSE manager.
Qualifications & experience
Education:
- University degree / diploma in engineering
Experience:
- 20+ years' experience with a minimum of 10+ years in EPC environment
- Extensive experience in engineering and construction work processes and activity sequence
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Mandatory competencies
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) as well as with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
