Project Manager
Summary
The Project Manager oversees construction projects by coordinating with engineers and architects, managing budgets, scheduling phases, and supervising site labor. The role requires proficiency in construction software like AutoCAD and Revit to ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Obtain permit and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Materials quantity take off , Drafting works if necessary
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as Project Manager
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Outstanding communications and negotiation skills
- Able to use Microsoft office , microsoft project , autocad , revit , naviswork and other engineering softwares skillfully.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Advances time management and analytical skills
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
