- Developing and implementing detailed project plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinating and managing the activities of project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations, safety standards and quality requirements
- Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders and management to provide updates and resolve issues
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the project team
What we're looking for
- Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Deputy Project Manager or Project Manager in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
- Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations and safety requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members
