Project Manager

Summary

Oversees construction projects, supervises carpentry teams, ensures quality and timelines, and coordinates with stakeholders to deliver furniture projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, control, execute and closeprojects within contractual schedule and budgeted cost.
  • To supervise a crew of carpenters in achievingproduction targets to meet project deadline.
  • Perform quality check and ensure furniture arefabricated accordingly to construction drawing.
  • Review drawings, design notes, and criticalspecifications.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, monitor andreport of project progress.
  • Liaise and coordinate with related parties(e.g., authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers etc.) throughregular meetings to ensure conformity to specifications, quality and deliveryschedule.
  • Supervision at project site to ensure smoothoperations.
  • Ensure that staff and contractors carry out workin a safe manner.
  • Monitor daily progress at project site.
  • Report to management team on project status.
  • Ensure up to date claims, obtaining approval forvariations order and prepare for billing.
  • Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Interior Design / Carpentry / Joinery knowledgepreferred
  • At least 5 to 10 Year(s) of working experiencein the related field is required for this position
  • Good team player and able to work independentlywith minimal supervision
  • Able to start work within short notice
