PROJECT MANAGER (LOW-VOLTAGE & SMART BUILDING SYSTEMS)
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead low-voltage and smart building projects from planning and technical coordination through installation, commissioning and final handover.
This is a hands-on role with regular involvement on project sites and close collaboration with clients, contractors, suppliers and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through all stages: planning, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
- Coordinate clients, engineers, contractors, suppliers and installation teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets and resources
- Review technical documentation, drawings and specifications
- Monitor procurement and equipment deliveries
- Regularly visit project sites and oversee the progress and quality of installation works
- Coordinate commissioning and functional testing of systems
- Manage project changes, additional works, risks and deadlines
- Ensure project documentation and handover requirements are completed
- Provide regular project status updates to management
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Lead Engineer in low-voltage or related engineering systems
- Proven experience managing projects independently and working directly with clients
- Good understanding of the full engineering/construction project lifecycle: design, procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, acceptance and handover
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and project documentation
- Experience working with specifications, estimates and commercial proposals
- Understanding of the relationship between technical solutions, scope, timelines and project costs
- Experience coordinating technical teams, contractors and suppliers
- Good understanding of low-voltage installation practices and quality requirements
- Ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site
- Strong planning, coordination and project ownership skills
- Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to spend a significant part of the working time on project sites
- Good English for professional communication and technical documentation
- Willingness to work regularly on project sites and travel when required
Experience with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, BMS, KNX or building automation systems would be an advantage.
