Project Manager (LTA project)
Summary
Leads end-to-end delivery of LTA (Land Transport Authority) infrastructure construction projects in Singapore: coordinating with authorities, consultants and subcontractors, managing schedules, budgets, costs and safety compliance, and overseeing testing, defect rectification and handover. Requires an engineering degree and 10+ years on Singapore LTA projects.
Job Responsibilities：
- Lead, plan, manage and oversee the overall execution of LTA projects from project commencement to completion.
- Coordinate and liaise with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, construction schedules, budgets, manpower and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings, contractual requirements and relevant statutory regulations.
- Lead, supervise and provide guidance to project engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors.
- Review and monitor technical submissions, construction drawings, method statements and project documentation.
- Identify potential project risks, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise delays.
- Monitor project costs, variation orders, progress claims and overall project performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project coordination meetings to ensure work quality and safety compliance.
- Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and clients.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, defect rectification and final project handover.
Job Requirements：
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in LTA projects in Singapore.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering LTA infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of LTA specifications, construction standards, procedures and authority requirements.
- Good understanding of Singapore construction regulations, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and site safety practices.
- Experienced in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and contract administration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage project teams, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving, communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently, manage tight deadlines and ensure successful project delivery.
