Job Summary
Lead and manage semiconductor piping projects from initiation to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery in compliance with relevant quality and standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle, from tender and contract award through design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet key milestones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.
- Lead cross-functional teams including project engineers, construction managers, drafters, and site supervisors to align on deliverables and resolve issues.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical, commercial, and site-related challenges to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with semiconductor facility protocols, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written forms to lead teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and present to senior management.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field); CSCPM or equivalent certification is preferred
- Preferably at least 7–10 years of work experience in piping or construction project management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility protocols
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (ability to review drawings) and project management software
- Proven track record in budget management, contract negotiation, and client relationship management
