Project Manager, MilTech
Summary
Project Manager at Intelic (defence software for uncrewed systems, product: Nexus C2 platform) owning end-to-end delivery of unit deployments, integrations, pilots, field trials and partner programmes. Hybrid role in Kyiv coordinating brigades, manufacturers, partners and engineers.
At Intelic, we build software for uncrewed systems in the defence sector. We are based in Amsterdam, with a second office in Kyiv. Our main product is Nexus, a command-and-control (C2) platform for uncrewed systems used by Ukrainian brigades every day.
Why the role exists
We are looking for a Project Manager to own our projects end to end: unit deployments, integrations, pilots, field trials and partner programmes. It is a role for someone who can enter a new project quickly, understand the technology and the military context, bring the right people together (brigades, manufacturers, partners, engineers) and drive it to a clear outcome.
What you will do
Lead projects from first request to result: unit deployments, hardware and software integrations, pilots and field trials, partner and grant-funded programmes.
Turn goals into a clear scope, milestones, owners and deadlines, and keep the plan up to date as priorities change.
Track status, risks and dependencies, escalate early and push for decisions when priorities conflict.
Build and keep working relationships with brigades and units, drone and payload manufacturers, integration partners and government stakeholders.
Be the single point of contact for your projects: run syncs, record decisions and follow up until things are done.
Introduce simple, lightweight processes that help a small, fast team, not slow it down.
You will thrive here if
You have 3+ years of experience managing technical projects in IT (software, SaaS, integrations) or in MilTech and defence.
You have a technical background: you understand how software products, APIs, networks and hardware fit together, can read a spec and talk to engineers in their language. Coding is not required.
You understand the MilTech domain: drones and UxV, C2 and situational awareness, how military units are organised and how they adopt new technology.
You are comfortable with commanders, engineers, manufacturers and executives alike, and can find the right person and get the information needed for a decision.
You learn fast and get into the details of a new project and its technology within days, not weeks.
You are structured and reliable: clear task wording, written decisions, follow-through.
You speak Ukrainian at native level and English at B2 or higher (daily work with HQ in the Netherlands).
You are confident with Jira or Linear, Notion or Confluence, Google Workspace and Slack.
Why Intelic
Front-line impact. You work on technology used on the front line today, and your projects decide how fast it reaches the units that need it.
International team. Work with HQ teams in Amsterdam and a strong team in Ukraine.
Short paths. Field feedback turns into product decisions quickly.
Real influence. You work closely with HQ and have a real say in the product.
