Project Manager (Mixed Development, A1 main contractor)

About the Role
Our client, a leading A1 main contractor, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new mixed development project in North Singapore. You will take overall charge of the project, from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the project, including planning, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee the construction methodology, including basement works using top-down and bottom-up methods.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and cash flow, and report progress to senior management and the client
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and the project team
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH), BCA, quality and environmental requirements.
• Manage project risks, variations, claims and contractual matters
• Maintain good working relationships with the client, consultants and authorities

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Project Management or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry with main contractors
• Proven track record managing commercial projects
• Hands-on experience with top-down or bottom-up construction methods is preferred
• Full project cycle experience, from start-up to handover, is highly valued
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and standards
