We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology and business transformation initiatives within a complex financial services environment.

You will play a critical role in navigating competing priorities, managing risk, and creating visibility across projects while fostering strong partnerships with technology, business, and delivery teams.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and governance frameworks
• Monitor project performance, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
• Deliver regular status reporting and executive-level updates
• Facilitate informed decision-making through clear communication and data-driven insights
• Manage project financials, budget forecasting, and change control processes
• Drive stakeholder engagement across business, technology, and vendor teams
• Promote strong governance, compliance, and risk management practices
• Support and motivate cross-functional delivery teams, removing obstacles and enabling success
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and standards

What you'll bring

Essential experience

• Proven track record delivering complex projects from initiation through to implementation
• Strong project management experience within financial services environments
• Demonstrated expertise managing project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and governance
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations
• Strong understanding of Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Strong risk management and compliance awareness
• Hands-on experience with project reporting and governance frameworks

Preferred experience

• Experience within Superannuation, Insurance, Wealth Management, or related financial services sectors
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile certifications, or equivalent qualifications
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Microsoft collaboration tools
• Understanding of enterprise technology environments and delivery practices
