Project Manager

NIKA is hiring for a Project Manager to support the Base Operations and Maintenance Division in Fort Steward, Maryland. The role will sit onsite.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall performance of the work under the contract and serves as the Contractor’s primary authority for all contract matters related to the daily operation of the contract. The PM shall have full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor in all such matters.

Job Description:

• Serve as the Contractor’s primary point of contact for the daily operation and performance of the contract.
• Exercise full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operations.
• Maintain responsibility for ensuring the work is performed in accordance with contract requirements.
• Be present and on-site and available during normal duty hours.
• Attend the post-award conference, at which time the Contractor shall provide the Government/Contracting Officer (KO) with the PM’s name.
• When unavailable, ensure an Alternate Project Manager (APM) is designated to perform the same duties and responsibilities during the PM’s absence.
• Maintain the required security clearance for the duration of the contract.

Required:

• Must be US Citizen
• Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in base support management or a contract similar in scope
• Must have and maintain a Tier 3, Secret clearance at the time of contract start and for the life of the contract
  
  If the PM does not possess a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Facility Management, the PM must possess two (2) of the following certifications:
  • Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP)
  • Facilities Management Certificate
