Project Manager
Summary
Oversee engineering projects in M&E (mechanical and electrical) for industrial or infrastructure builds, coordinating teams, budgets, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within cost.
- Provide overall leadership, governance, organization, and management of the project team.
- Ensure execution of all assigned projects with respect to safety, quality, design, procurement,
- Ensure project execution compliance in accordance with Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- Manage all project stakeholders (owners, clients, consultants, subcontractors, third parties, and internal teams) for smooth project delivery.
- Manage purchase requisitions and invoices promptly to facilitate PO issuance and supplier payments.
- Control project costs, including site expenditure, to safeguard profit margins.
- Ensure additional works are executed only with approved Variation Order Requests from customers.
- Manage project cash flow by ensuring timely submission and approval of progress claims.
- Achieve project objectives, including on-time delivery and cost control within allocated budgets.
- Escalate challenges to the Project Director promptly for resolution.
- Conduct regular meetings with the project team and Customer team to review project status.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or Master’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software such as MS Project or Primavera. is advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in project management within the M&E field.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally across all levels, internally and externally.
