Project Manager (Real Estate) (Quantity Surveying focused)
Summary
Oversee commercial real estate projects, providing cost and commercial advice as a Quantity Surveyor. Manage budgets, tenders, contracts, and stakeholder communications for construction or fit-out projects.
How you would contribute to the business:
Lead and deliver commercial real estate projects from planning through completion.
Act as the Quantity Surveying subject matter expert within the Project Management team, providing cost and commercial advice to clients and project stakeholders.
Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, procurement strategies, and financial reporting.
Lead tendering processes, contract administration, and commercial negotiations with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, costs, risks, key deliverables and prepare proper documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.
Liaise with clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project governance, risk management, and project close-out activities.
Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
Other duties as assigned by the Project Director / Team Head.
Skills that help you excel in the role:
Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
Chartered Quantity Surveyor with HKIS, RICS, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, project management consultancy, or construction project delivery.
Strong experience in cost planning, tendering, procurement, and contract administration for construction or fit-out projects.
Sound commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Experience in commercial real estate projects will be highly regarded.
