Project Manager
Red Bear Tech Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project from sales handover through to completion, ensuring that budget, programme, client communication, commercial coordination, reporting and project controls are actively managed.
As Project Manager you are the face of the project to the client and the owner of delivery priorities, expectations and project outcomes for the wider project team. You will chair internal project meetings, conduct reviews, deliver briefings and lead challenging conversations with internal and external stakeholders across every phase of delivery, from construction, commissioning and closeout.
Project Managers report operationally to the Snr Project Manager, and are accountable for the delivery performance of their assigned projects. Where no Snr Project Manager is assigned, the Project Manager holds overall project budget accountability and reports directly to the Divisional Director. Line management, resource allocation and support run through the Operations Manager. Operationally, Site Managers support the Project Manager by managing site delivery tasks in line with the project requirements.
Manage the project programme, package budget, client reporting, internal reporting, risk register, action tracker, drop lines, procurement tracker, technical submittal tracker and project control pack. Coordinate with Commercial, Planning, HSE, Design, Document Control, Site Management and the wider project team. Support technical submittals, RAMS coordination, procurement planning, programme updates, commercial reviews, resource planning, lessons learned and closeout documentation.
Accountabilities
The Project Manager is expected to deliver assigned projects on time, on budget and to the highest possible quality standards. Performance in this role is measured against ten KPIs defined in the Project Manager KPI Handbook, drawn from the role's non-negotiables, responsibilities and governance duties under the Operations Team framework; these are the disciplines through which on-time, on-budget, quality delivery is achieved and evidenced. KPIs are scored monthly on evidence, banded Green, Amber and Red, and reviewed at the monthly Operations performance review. The KPI record supports the six-monthly performance appraisal.
