Project Manager | Residential Construction & HVAC
Description
Portland, Oregon | Full time, exempt | $70,000–$75,000 annually
Good projects need someone who sees what’s coming.
A crew arrives with the right materials. A homeowner knows what happens next. A jobsite problem gets solved before it becomes a delay. As a Project Manager at GreenSavers, you make those things happen.
You’ll guide home energy upgrades from sales handoff through installation, closeout, and final payment. You’ll work closely with homeowners, HVAC and weatherization crews, scheduling, and sales, reporting to the Production Manager.
What you’ll do
- Prepare the job. Walk the home, inspect installation conditions, clarify the scope, and catch potential problems before crews arrive.
- Keep crews informed. Coordinate accurate scopes, photos, site notes, materials, and resource needs with field leads and office teams.
- Own the follow-through. Manage several projects, document changes, resolve concerns, and complete punch lists, test-out records, and final-payment follow-up.
- Build homeowner trust. Set expectations, give clear updates, and handle difficult conversations with care and sound judgment.
- Adapt when plans change. Help resolve scheduling gaps and unexpected conditions, and improve workflows with the Production Manager.
The work is hands-on
Attics, crawl spaces, ladders, and active residential jobsites are routine parts of this role. You’ll inspect conditions and plan work using appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment.
