Spang Builders has an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our well established, high-end residential construction company based in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The Project Manager will have extensive residential construction knowledge and willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment managing one of a kind, highly custom projects

Requirement of the Project Manager:

    • Extensive knowledge of high-end residential custom home building / renovations
    • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, subcontractors and vendors
    • Strong time and task management skills
    • Computer / technology proficiency (BuilderTrend or similar estimating software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Excellent people skills
    • Ability to work as a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple task

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

    • Manage project schedules, plan and schedule subcontractors
    • Manage crew(s) to ensure proper safety protocols, craftsmanship and project progression
    • Effectively communicate with multiple levels including customers, subcontractors, vendors, technicians and internal teams
    • Daily communication with other project managers, subcontractors and vendors
    • Collaboration with owner, co-workers, customers and various subcontractors/vendors to ensure project financial budgets are followed
    • Track and understand project limitations
    • Identify and create change orders in a timely manner
    • Management and oversight of multiple properties and projects
    • Manage crew to ensure property safety protocols and craftsmanship
    • Proactively identify potential issues and provide solutions
    • Collaborate with various municipalities and understanding of permitting processes
