Project Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term

About the Opportunity...

As Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of Health & Safety projects designed to strengthen capability, improve compliance, and support operational excellence across the business.

You'll work closely with leaders, operational teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop and execute project plans, manage risks, remove barriers to delivery, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of new initiatives.

Your first major project will be the implementation of a new Contractor Management System. With the technology partner already selected, you will lead the planning, coordination, implementation, and change management activities required to deliver a successful outcome across the organisation.

Success in this role will come from your ability to combine strong project delivery disciplines with exceptional stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Health & Safety transformation projects from initiation through to operational readiness
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, and delivery roadmaps
• Build strong relationships that create engagement, alignment, and commitment across the business
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, issues, and progress to ensure successful delivery
• Provide clear and meaningful reporting to project sponsors and senior leaders
• Drive implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement outcomes
• Maintain momentum across multiple workstreams while navigating competing priorities

About You...

You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex transformation, business improvement, or systems implementation projects.

Just as importantly, you know how to bring people with you. You build credibility quickly, communicate effectively at all levels, and are skilled at creating alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

You are equally comfortable presenting to senior leaders as you are working alongside operational teams, influencing outcomes, navigating complexity, and driving sustainable change.

Experience within Health & Safety, contractor management, or manufacturing environments would be advantageous, but is not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead change, manage stakeholders, and deliver results.

Ideally You Will Bring:

• Proven experience delivering transformation, business improvement, or enterprise-wide projects
• Strong project planning, governance, and programme coordination capability
• Experience implementing systems, processes, or organisational change initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Well-developed influencing and negotiation abilities
• The confidence to challenge constructively and drive accountability
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, operational, or multi-site environments would be beneficial
