Summary
Oversee construction projects in Singapore from start to finish, coordinating teams, schedules, budgets, and compliance with local regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from commencement to completion.
- Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule, specifications and approved drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant project stakeholders.
- Manage site activities, manpower, materials and resources to meet project requirements.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, quality and overall project performance.
- Attend project meetings and site meetings, and follow up on required actions.
- Identify and resolve technical, project and site coordination issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure construction works comply with applicable regulations, safety requirements and quality standards.
- Review project documentation, work schedules, method statements and progress reports.
- Provide regular project progress updates to management.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
- Relevant working experience in construction project management.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, site operations and project coordination.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage project schedules, resources and multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Familiar with applicable construction regulations, safety requirements and industry practices in Singapore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a project team.
