About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale SAP integration initiative within a complex enterprise environment.
This role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of multiple SAP integration efforts. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a practical understanding of SAP business processes, data migration, and enterprise transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project plans for SAP integration initiatives, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, and delivery milestones.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams spanning finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, manufacturing, and other business functions.
- Coordinate data migration activities with technical teams, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, testing, mock conversions, and cutover planning.
- Facilitate project governance activities and provide regular status updates to IT leadership, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Identify risks, dependencies, issues, and resource constraints, and drive timely resolution.
- Partner with business leaders to support organizational readiness, process alignment, training, change management, and user adoption activities.
- Coordinate testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business readiness assessments.
- Plan and manage cutover activities, go-live execution, stabilization efforts, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, consulting partners, and system integrators to ensure successful project delivery.
- Track project performance against established objectives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience, including experience leading SAP implementation, integration, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP business processes and core modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or related functional areas.
- Experience managing enterprise data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities within SAP environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholders, and project dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience working across both technical and business teams to drive project execution.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or integration programs.
- Familiarity with enterprise change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with global teams, external consulting partners, and system integrators.
- Understanding of ERP governance, testing methodologies, release management, and deployment processes.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization or business transformation programs.
